*in the cabin is nothing of particular importance; it's a normal cabin with the inhabitant's possessions scattered around or neatly piled, depending on personality*

*there is, however, an empty cot; on the empty cot is a piece of paper on top of some sealed letters*

The game is at an end. Feel free to discuss amongst yourselves the order of the letters and the possible significance of the clue. It is my hope that the way home will become obvious and those who wish to leave will be able to do so immediately. For those who have 0% desire to leave this place. Well. It is your decision to make and I will not question your priorities.

By this point, there is a 98% chance that I have left. I wish the majority of you well.

- Inui Sadaharu

*in the pile of letters, there are ones addressed to Excel, Tezuka Kunimitsu, Buffy Summers, Tsukiyono Omi, and Fuji Syuusuke*

[ooc: And that's all. For my own confused ramblings about Inui and playing him and playing him in this game, you can go here. Otherwise, I hope someone out there enjoyed all this silliness; I am really sorry it's so long. If, for some reason, you want to know any of the answers to the few legitimate puzzles, leave a comment. However, you all are smarter than I, you'll figure it out. Plus, most of the questions are ridiculous.]

I have finally done what I said I would; I have discovered a way out of this camp. As others have said, the way is surprisingly easy once the correct data has been collected. That it took me such a prolonged amount of time to realize the answer is an embarrassment; I will have to work harder to make sure that I don't make such obvious oversights in the future with regards to my data.

Unlike others who have left without even attempting to leave an indication of their method of escape, I am leaving a clue. The clue is scattered throughout the camp. If you are logical and aware of your environment, you will have no difficulties collecting and assembling it. I have tried my best to choose questions that are relatively easy to answer; it is not my wish to hide the answer to escape from those who wish to know it, but to hopefully disallow the camp from tampering with it. I hope I am successful, but there is only a 23% chance that I will be. Still, that is a better percentage than if I simply stated the answer.

The premise is simple. At each location you visit, there will be a question with two answers. Each answer will give you a new location to go to and a letter. At the end, when the letters are assembled, they spell out the clue. If you answer incorrectly to a question, you will not get the correct letter. However, considering the questions, this should not be a large concern. Unless the camp changes the questions written. Perhaps I should have figured that into my calculations.

Good luck.

Y'know. I've been extremely dissatisfied with my play and just general playing for like. Oh. The past three months. Frustrated and dissatisfied and generally grumpy. And because I'm such a slow thinker, it has finally occurred to me why.

I am sick to death with talking about the barrier, escape, how dangerous the camp is, the Director, and anything remotely having to do with those four topics.

It's my fault, I know, because it's usually Inui who brings these topics up. Well, it's a bad habit because it's making me not want to play him anymore and thus the clear strategy to remedy this is to stop it. So that's what I'm going to try to do.

If another camper brings those topics up, that's fine. Inui will definitely talk about it and probably very boringly because you've all heard it before. And you can still direct new campers who are all Gung-Ho Escape to him, if you want. But he is not going to mention it first. If his sudden silence about the barrier and related topics is out-of-character and jarring, well that's the way it has to be. I have to do something to make playing more enjoyable. It's not as if he's particularly in-character anyways.

HEY RIN/TOBIAS. Here's what you requested. I did my best to keep it light-ish, considering that the world is not in need of more angst fiction, and it kinda sucks. I tried? If you're displeased and want something else, let me know.

LET'S GET THE WORLD, LET'S WALK ANOTHER WAY
Let's step towards our one future
Walking together along our one road
There's not a single thing I'm afraid of
My heart will not give in, this heart that believes in the two of us.
Gazing at the far off sky, this world is merely inside of these hands.

No one probably cares about this but me. That's okay. But if someone's perplexed as to how Inui reacted to Renji skipping out of town [AGAIN, the bastard], this might help. Or maybe no one is. I don't know. Where am I again? What day is it?

Inui, Disappointment, and Failure )

It's not by chance but it's inevitable
Facts are gathered. Data doesn't lie.
It's not by luck, everything is within calculation.
It's predictable. Data doesn't tell lies.
The technique for making use of data is necessary.
A feeling which manipulates the data is important.
The present me cannot be defeated by anyone.
